In 2021, members of the Alberta Hereford Association formed the Alberta Hereford Showcase committee with the intent on holding a multi-day Hereford event for members of the Hereford community to connect and network with other purebred breeders and commercial ranchers including a junior program and show.
Over the course of the last three years, the Alberta Hereford Showcase has become the largest Horned, Polled & Hereford Plus show in Canada. Each year the event adds new programming to the event schedule. The Showcase is proud to be a leader in cutting edge, creative thinking and marketing of this great breed. 

The mandate of the Alberta Hereford Showcase is to improve integration with the commercial sector by establishing a conduit by which the established producer, next generation breeder or small unestablished breeder can market and highlight their program to North America.
